The Everything Bagel
The Everything Bagel ... isn't it pretty?!?!?! Although your hand will get dirty making them, its worth it! The texture is different from a "regular" bagel, but they slice and toast nicely and topped with some butter or cream cheese ... they're just PERFECT!
You can make your own everything but the bagel seasoning but I buy mine from Trader Joe's.
The Everything Bagel:
Ratio: 3:1 Serving Size: 1 bagel (50g) Makes: 6 servings

The What:

100g Almond Flour
-
20g MCT Oil Powder
-
3g Xanthan Gum
-
5g Baking Powder
-
100g Butter
-
50g Heavy Cream
-
Everything But the Bagel Seasoning (to taste)
The How To:

Preheat oven to 375

In a bowl measure out and combine all the dry ingredients, except the seasoning. Set aside

Combine butter and heavy cream in a microwave safe bowl and heat up until butter is melted.

Add butter mixture to the dry mixture and mix with a silicone spatula until well combined

Portion out dough (50g/bagel) and using wet hands roll into a ball. Make a hole (about the size of a quarter) in the middle of the ball to from the bagel.

Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and sprinkle with Everything but the Bagel seasoning.

Repeat steps 5 & 6 with the remainder of the dough

Bake for 15 min or until tops begin to brown and sound hollow if tapped on.
